Sometimes, i wonder if all the complexities in the world are really needed to mould us into better beings.

Coming back from the mission trip enabled me to see things in a totally different perspective. Going to church, paying attention to sermon and all took different meanings when i seriously opened my heart to accept what He had to say. No wonder sundays seemed so meaningless in the past. I couldn't grasp just how we could grow spiritually just by forking out a few hours on a sunday then. Now, it's easy to see that growth takes much more than that. But as long as it's the RIGHT thing to do, it doesn't come as a waste.

Our choices in situations mould us into the kind of people we become, be it good or bad. Several good choices does not make a saint; neither does repeated bad choices make a demon. It is the consistent will to do good and learn from mistakes that brings us somewhere eventually. Thus, banking on the circumstances life throws us in, we can be said to be forged with stronger characters.

Realistically speaking, there will always be situations that somehow turn out to be beyond us. Attempting and trying to hard to settle these problems ourselves would be futile. That's what i've learnt after thinking about several issues at home but ohwells, whereisshe?

Man alone cannot suffice.

Here's how today turned out. Received a concordance by some random guy on the street as i was walking to church. Attended the second service after an overly-long hiatus. Heard when i paid heed to words. Got 2 advanced christmas presents from auntyjan&unclesam and auntymaggie. Probably opening them on 27dec?
